Shalom Theological Seminary trains Christian leaders with purpose, integrity, and a passion to serve the church and community through biblical education, ministry formation, and practical training.
Shalom Theological Seminary (STS) was founded to prepare faithful servants for ministry and leadership in local churches, mission fields, and Christian service. The seminary combines biblical teaching with practical ministry formation to help students grow spiritually, intellectually, and pastorally.
The Kuki Baptist Convention responded to God’s call by creating a training institute for Christian workers. The Leadership Training Institute (LTI) began offering short courses for church leaders such as deacons, evangelists, missionaries, and lay ministers.
In 2017, the institution became a residential Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) degree college. The seminary was renamed from Shalom Bible College (SBC) to Shalom Theological Seminary (STS) and welcomed its first graduating class in June 2020.
STS seeks to equip students for ministry, leadership, and service through biblical training and practical formation.
The seminary’s guiding principle is rooted in the call to know and serve God with devotion and humility.
