Administration

Shalom Theological Seminary belongs to the Kuki Baptist Convention India. The following offices and administrative bodies support the Seminary in its teaching, academic, and operational life.

Board of Theological Education

The governing authority of the Seminary. Members change every two years except ex-officio members. The Principal serves as Secretary and the Academic Dean as Recorder.

Principal

The Principal is the head of the institution, accountable to the Board and responsible for the Seminary's overall affairs, including finance, academics, and administration.

Vice Principal

The Vice Principal assists the Principal in administration and takes charge in the Principal's absence.

Registrar

The Registrar manages enrollment, admission registration, and academic correspondence for students, the college, and the Senate of Serampore.

Faculty Council

The Faculty Council oversees academic programs, student discipline, and internal policies for the welfare of the Seminary community.

Deans of Different Programs

Academic Dean

Responsible for academic programming, record-keeping, and coordination across B.Th, Ministerial Training, Missionary Training, DipMS, DipCM, and other programs.

Dean of Ministerial Training

Oversees probationary pastors' orientation, lay leadership training, and pastors' refresher courses.

Dean of Missionary Training

Manages the Missionary Training programme and the Diploma in Mission Studies.

Dean of Research and Development

Coordinates research, seminars, and academic publications, including the STS Journal.

Dean of Practical Ministry

Facilitates field education placements, evaluations, and practical ministry training for students.
